The hazards of medical waste:

Tips:

According to Article 17 of the "Regulations on the Management of Medical Waste":

● Medical institutions shall establish temporary storage facilities and equipment for medical waste, and shall not store medical waste outdoors;

● The temporary storage time of medical waste shall not exceed 2 days;

● The temporary storage facilities and equipment for medical waste shall be located away from the medical area, food processing area, and personnel activity area, as well as the garbage storage area, and shall be equipped with obvious warning signs and safety measures such as preventing leakage, preventing rats, preventing mosquitoes and flies, preventing cockroaches, preventing theft, and preventing children from coming into contact.

● The temporary storage facilities and equipment for medical waste shall be disinfected and cleaned regularly.
